Jeff Ewer (who shot the video) and I, Sean Bullman (who did the editing), caught the rescue of a boy and his parents from the roof of a car on a flooded street between 4:45 and 5:00 on June 4, 2008. This all unfolded at the intersection of North Monroe and 17th Street in Bloomington, IN. A fire truck extended its ladder and a fireman crossed the ladder to rescue the stranded family. On an interesting note, at the end of the video, Mayor Mark Kruzan (wearing a blue shirt) is seen getting into his car and driving off.
My house was right up that hill with the red truck on it. :D That was a HUGE storm.

Wow, I was inside Kilroy's at Kirkwood and Dunn when the water rose to there, flooding inside; definitely a site to see in an area that doesn't flood often.

Damn, that's a hell of a place to be stranded at. We're up here in Greensburg, Indiana and a lot of the flood water here is finally starting to draw back. Good footage though and it's good to see the family got to safety.
