@WeAreOldskool Mine is a 91 modal as well, 72000 k on the clock and sweet as a nut.. Its the second cbr 1000f Ive owned and it won't be the last

i have one also is an 88 model and still running until now, i also bought an other one of the same year for parts and like you say it keeps up with a lot of new bikes, i'm from mexico there are also a few more here where i live, like 3 i think, they are all over the globee =D

i have a 91 model, absolutely love her, she has 56000 klms on the clock, was a bit neglected when i got her but i am restoring her back to original pristine condition, i had a 95 model 1000f but sold it and regretted it ever since, now i have the 91 she aint going nowhere, great video

@wrukstar - are you blind? The dash on these is gorgeous. A hell of a lot better integration than can be said for most other bikes. Even the sports bikes these days with digital speedos look like there's just been these square chunks welded to a f.ugly cylindrical frame. They just look so simple and uncleanly in positioning.
The CBR 1000F has a beautiful top quality layout from head to toe. The dash is reminiscing of one seen in a quality car, more so than a bike.

I bought my hurricane (built in '87, imported in '94from Canada to Holland) in 1994 and still have it. Was so happy when i could buy another CBR from '87 for the parts, costed only €1000,- now I'm sure me and my cbr will never part. it runs and shows like new and still keeps up with many new ones. Nice to read there are more of me all over the globe.
