Propoganda IS brainwashing, whichever form it's in. You can't deny that this channel isn't propoganda. I'm not denying that the pledge in the USA isn't the USA form of propoganda/brainwashing or that the numerous billboards in other countries are not their own form of propoganda/brainwashing. Every country has it. But I have to say, a channel of songs singing about how much you love your country is the strangest one i've seen to date.

*sigh* i guess i need to elucidate. And I am Chinese too, so I CAN read your posts.

Every country has their own form of propoganda. I've seen billboards and posters at every block, children reciting things in school, merchandise, ads, etc. But that was the FIRST time I'd ever seen an ENTIRE CHANNEL dedicated to SONGS about how much a person loves their country. This isn't even including the other channels with normal/typical propaganda here and there.

Ah, the ignorant Western world. Everything we do must be justified, as everything they do is 'brainwashing' or 'propaganda'.

Well I've got news for you. The biggest propaganda machine since the 1950s-60s Reagan commercials is Hollywood. Don't like people brainwashing you? Try turning off your television for good. The world is full of it, and it's quite unfair that you pinpoint China for all of it.

I'd say, as an American, that saying the pledge of allegiance is a form of indoctrination but from my experiences in china and america...chinese are much more nationalistic...to the point of fanatacism and they can't handle anything that resembles criticism.
