The Brady Crying Game

I have a few clips leftover from my "When a Brady Loves His Daughters" movie spoof and just kind of tossed the crying scenes together with one of Jonathan Segel's [Camper Van Beethoven, Cracker, Jack and Jill" song "Ash Scattering." The song always just sounded so moving and powerful to me so it just kind of worked with the girls crying. It's just 4 clips played over and over again backwards, forwards, repeating all kinds of slightly creepy/trippy editing.

Beautiful. I love how Alice gets strong at the end - that look where she's going to endure the pain for the family's sake. And that final scene with Clark Gable at the door ... oh, wait ... You have a huge talent. Some brilliant stuff here.

Heh.. wouldn't call it artistic, just had some extra footage, a good song and was making a b/g video for the b/g menu of a DVD of my films I put together and some people said it made them laugh and that I should release it as a seperate film so here is what we are stuck with ;)

"Vote for Brady" was the episode Marcia cried. This same episode also had Bobby crying at the end, when Cindy beat him for school's crossing guard.

The only Brady child that didn't cry was Peter, Marcia cried the most, followed by Jan, then Cindy, then Bobby lastly Greg. Alice was the adult that cried the most, Carol only twice, when Mike told her "How about beards" on the clubhouse show and when Cindy and Bobby are found when they got lost in the Grand Canyon. Mike never.
