I love this Comedy movie very much. Nick Nolte, Richard Dreyfuss and Bette Midler showed amazing acting. all supporting cast was awesome as well and that dog deserved doggy Oscar or smth like that. The 80's were really the Best

I always thought Richard Dreyfus was a better ACTor than Nick Nolte but since _The Thin Red Line_ , I changed my opinion. I saw Richard live on stage in UK/London + a Norwegian NickNolte-lookalike courted me without success. I like the bit where the (youngER) nanny/housekeeper sleeps with the employer. Funny stuff like this happens ONLY in movies/LA-LA-Land? george clooney is not as good as R. Dreyfus or N. Nolte who doN't advertise coffee, etc like recession-struck (multi-millionaire) george

The majority of the movies that I own are from the 80's and 90's, with Down and Out in Beverly Hills being one of them.
