@Rasmusa1 Cool question. If a positron were allowed to pass through the magnetic field in the same manner as the other types of radiation, it makes sense that it would be deflected exactly opposite to how the electron was deflected, because the two have opposite charges and the same masses. However, this would require the positron to pass through air, which would cause annihilation, as an electron in air would combine with the positron, and both would disappear.
