How is Beijing. I know about the awful truth of Nanking. Perhaps you should that China. the USA and Great Britain were on the same side.

@gopconservative78 The British lived on an island with natural defences, the French didn't, they lived next door to the angry Ubermen...I'm a Brit, one who likes history and I think that when you strip away the propaganda you'll find that we ran away....and later called it the Dunkirk Spirit, NEVER SURRENDER!!! etc, Utter bollocks, if the Germans had invaded with significant force we would have surrendered without a shadow of a doubt. We would have had no choice, surrender or be slaughtered.

@bxjam85 Fascism is overwhelmingly seen by experts as a far-Right Wing ideology -- the notion that it is somehow "centrist" is a view held by a tiny minority that confuses actions with ideology -- a rather fundamental mistake given that Fascism (like all similar 'isms") is about why you do things, not how. Fascism was/is hyper-nationalistic and exclusionary, open only to the "right" people while seeing most others as direct threats against the "group," a classic far-right viewpoint.

@BeijingisBeijing And they were disorgernised. But they put up one hell of a fight but knew there was only destruction if they went on. Only a fool would fight if it ment total destruction when there was a chance of getting them by the balls later.

I like the Gathering Storm's Churchill actor more. He got the voice down well, but I would've like to see this part of the war with those actors too.

I marvel at those who speak in such glowing terms of those men of conviction and of courage who with set jaw and clenched fists provided stewardship to see a nation through its darkest and most troubling times...now those same men ignore the difficulties that once again rear its ugly head on the horizon....islam rears its head and former gladiators and patriots tremble with fear and speak of tolerance and compromise...such cowardice fills me with the urge to defaecate. I weep for the republic.
