This is our hike in the Blue Gum Forest in March 2009. The forest is accessed from Perry's Lookdown, near Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, about two hours from Sydney. We spent two nights in Acacia Flat, the campground next to the forest. We left on a friday night at about 5pm, and it took us an hour to get down to the valley. The next day we took a 3.5 hr return walk up the Grose Valley, and found a swimming hole you can see in the video. We walked back up to Perry's Lookdown on day three in about an hour and a half and went for a beer a the New Ivanhoe Hotel in Blackheath after that. Good fun.

  • @parryguitarz Hey man. Thanks for the response, and sending me your other vid of the six foot track. Nice work. I'm in Argentina this year, so haven't been doing much hiking. Hoping to do some here though, and get some videos up of it. Stay tuned!
