[HQ view strongly recommended xD]

Background song: "Spirit of the Sea" by Blackmore's Night.

Lyrics appearing in the video:

Note: These lyrics are the corrected version :) See **

Listen to me, O Endless Sea
please take my words beneath your waves
O cant you hear me calling
for the Long lost Eastern way?
Walking the forbidden path for me
which my feet might draw again

For who will take me to the other shore?

Listen to me, O Gentle Wind
combing my hair with unseen hand
Please dance with me in lonely coasts
and take my song to faraway lands
For no other messenger I trust in
nor other wish consumes my heart.

For who will tell me where you are?

If I could just call the ancient ships
claimed by the deadly call of fire!
Ive seen them** there in my dreams
in answer to this secret desire.

And my wish may curse me forever
for theres no way to hold it back
And I long to see the flames still burning
deep inside your golden eyes.

(Aeryen to Finderin)

----------------------------------

This is a song written by my character in LOTRO, Aeryen Vailirë, a Telerin Elf-maiden. She wrote it for her childhood friend and secret love, the Noldo Finderin. They grew up together in the blessed island of Tol Eressëa, but Finderin had to go to Middle-Earth in the same ship that took the Istari there. Worried about her friend as years went by, Aeryen decided to follow his steps. Btw, a curse laid upon her family - no ship could take them to the land they had forsaken in the past... (that's why she speaks about a "forbidden path" to the East :) She somehow managed to get there, btw xD)

Featuring images by many artists, including the wonderful Tuuliky and Ted Nasmith ^^ Hope you enjoy.

Walking the forbidden path for me

which my feet might draw again << this eastern way is the Craft:)....oh, and nice song:)

  • @kahetel13 Thank you very much ^^

  • One more thing. Does anyone know what the font's name is that they use in the Lord of the Rings movies? Please don't say, "el font." lol Songs

  • @Songsmirth There are a couple of different fonts, I found almost them at thehutt.de

  • Beautiful. At 1:13 there is a painting of a young man who reminds me of a person I saw in one of the, "Inspector Lynsey(sp) Mysteries." The episode is called, "Well Schooled in Murder." Very strange to this yank, the school system. All around excellent actors/writing. I looked the actor up and his name is Henry Cavill. Just dead on. Do you know if he was the one the painter used for the portrait? The chin is exact. You're a good composer. Thanks for sharing. :) Songs

  • @Songsmirth Really? I don't know who the model for this painting was, maybe it's a photomanipulation? Not sure, but I fould it through Google and chose him beacuse his appearance is so similar to the Elf the song speaks of ^^

No prob, so glad you liked it ^^

  • I love the song in the backround. Blackmores Night is amazing

  • @TheTrueRandomness It's ironic you bring up that hymn. I had heard it in, "Calendar Girls" and so many other movies that I looked it up. There's a man here on YT named of Norman Hastings and he plays hymns. I've a few things of his on my channel under, "Hymns from around the world." Anyway, I've asked him if he will get the music and play it. He's got like this soul for hymns. His own style and it's so peaceful you can listen to him for hours. I keep hoping. . :) Songs

  • @Nighter93 No, I don't. I wrote the lyrics that appear in the video and in the description, but I only made the English version, as I am not confident enough with the Elvish language u.u Sorry!
