@o0Hawkeye0o You're totally right. At the time, I just used the timecode effect to create the countdown. I wouldn't do that again if I was making another one.

@will3792 Primarily because it's helpful for people to know how much time they have to talk/get coffee/use the restroom/etc. before service starts. At least that's how I see it. Hopefully that's helpful info.

@will3792 Ideally, you're absolutely correct, but people's watches aren't synched to the church clock, and sometimes it's necessary to start a few minutes late, and this is a great way to communicate that fact.
If only we could afford to issue atomic watches to everyone! :)
