@MikeJGallagherJr you clearly haven't read your history or constitution lately, the North actually violated the constitution first. As far as God goes, and yes you do capitalize it, I don't believe was wearing blue. The Union outnumbered the Confederacy 4 to 1 and had a better supply line and professional soldiers. The Confederacy had farmers who actually inflicted more casualties per man than their Union counterparts.

I find it so amusing, grown men who will not allow each to have their own opinions,thats what the south was fighting for!the right 2 not live under the restraints of a totalitarian system.in my opinion the slaves were a resource 2 a better life,a way to make money without having to work hard themselves AND THE SOUTH FELT THAT NOONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO COME INTO THEIR HOMES AND TELL THEM HOW TO LIVE!the same thing would happen IF A COUNTRY OVERTOOK THE U.S.A. The Federal government went to the individual states and territories, and ASKED for support in suppressing an unlawful rebellion. The overwhelming majority of the people in ALL the states and territories, CHOSE to side with the Union. That is how the system is supposed to work.
