Thank you for this video, I wasnt able to find anymore like this on youtube. I would love to see more tutorials for example one on how to make the underdress for this garbset, would be incrediably helpful.

Comments: The Smock dress is also commonly called an Apron Dress.
I say you will want to cut 2 gores - I mean 2 pair of gores. Also, if you choose to cut them on the fold, you will need to cut the fold line so that you can sew the straight of the grain to the body and the bias or diagonal cut sides together.
Making the gores 23" makes for a very full skirt, which I prefer, but you can narrow the gores down to about 15" each, for a total of 30 inches per side, if you prefer less fullness.

@sarahbrooks1970 Also, although I say I do not expect you to have a curved ruler, I don't tell you how to make the curved line if you don't. Measure your length from the point in several places and connect the lines to make the curve, removing the excess so you have a straight hanging hem on the finished garment.
