ghamuna dale dale raghla nu,
zaan ba der pat zrha ba pa koure bande sa tama..

( sad events are facing me in some great numbers,
i have to keep cool and my heart under control.)

pa zaan akhta shum puya na shum,
che me da meene yaar sara kawal luzuna.

(i was so pre occupied that i could no understand the meaning of the love-promises i was making).


da gham penduke pa khpal ser wrhema,
na shem khushala na pa meena puha shuma.

( i collected the sad happening as a load to carry,
and that was neither pleasant nor it helped me understand love.)

da nessthey wreze pa ma raghley,
yew shum ghareeb bel yaar da ghege juda shuma.

( i met some days of poverty on the way,
the worse poverty was separation from the arms of my girl.)

che da dedan hasthi de rashi,
noure nesthey tha khpala gharha wer kawama.

( when i see you and have deedan,
the anguish and poverty of life, appear nothing.)

pa jarha sterhe shum janaana,
nur ba pa ghem bande hamesh khanda ka wema.

( i am so tired of weeping and crying now when i am sad i laugh it.)

da wure lambe me pa than raghley,
che qased rawrha yaar la khwa na jawaboona.

( my body started burning,
as the messenger brought the bad news from my friend.)


ghamuna tekht za ye bacha wu ma,
beltun qazi shu ma pansey tha kheja weena.

( the sad happenings and events served as my thrown and i lived happy like a king, till the day the rival lover became the judge,and hence ordered my execution.)

jwandun me teir shu da ghamuno aw derduno sara,
be-wafa yaar na ba za sa tamma da nang kawama..

i am content, spending my life in pain and suffering,
i expect nothing worth a pride from the un-faithful friend.)
za te wes za ma majbury da nu
khwara nesti da ma da melk na wreka weena.

(i am leaving this country not by choice,this poverty is pushing me out.)

da zargi kore me pa gham-dar sho
da yar ghamuna yi pacha nur ye foujuna..

(my heart is taken over by sorrows as if my lovers sad sorrows is the king and the rest his soldiers.)

pa gham ke kala khanda ke gi
soke che ghamgeen wi ver jara mudam ka weena..

(no body can laugh in sorrows,those who carry the pain of separation,cry often in pain.)

kaluna wu shu yek tanha yem
pa wavela yem pa perdo jara kawama.

(years have gone by i am still a loner
i cry in hiding)

danana zra ke me sur ur de
da medan nang ba was da sharma jowra wama..

(fire of separation is burning in my heart
to the people in the field i have show my pride)

da beltoon zore me pa zra raghlo
pa jara jarem zra malge uba shuna..
