The Delta Blues Museums Arts and Education Program in Clarksdale, Mississippi has an extraordinary teaching method. Instead of a set curriculum, students from elementary school aged children to adults learn the blues by jamming as a band with professional blues artists. THE BABIES GOT THE BLUES is a portrait of two artist-teachers, Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry and Richard Daddy Rich Crisman, and several of their students.

  • Loved it! Love that drummer kid who's talking about how he gets nervous...

  • Great video! It really captures the process of trying to hold on to something that defines what music in America is all about...THE BLUES! I can't wait to go play my guitar. Now it feels imperative, not just fun. Thanks!!
