GLSEN student leader Conrad Honicker and his parents had an opportunity to speak with President Obama and the First Lady before the LGBT Pride event at the White House on June 29, 2009. Conrad talks about his message to Obama, who called Conrad's shoes the coolest ever to enter the White House.

  • u know whats sad? He would say that to keep good PR but the REAL truth is, people don't CARE about safer schools RIGHT NOW. HOWEVER in a year or 2, they will but right NOW, They only care about getting food on the table and keeping a JOB. thats why we cant fight to win marrage back this year or NEXT year, we can start to educate but please for the love of god dont put it on the ballot becasue we will LOOSE AGAIN. This was a good move on GLSEN's part.
