New Premier League kits 2008/2009

Ratings:

Arsenal Home: simple plain kit 4/10

Arsenal Away: nice colours 7/10

Aston Villa Home: big improvement better use of colours 8/10

Aston Villa Away: different colours works well, but a little too dark 6/10

Blackburn Home: taking away last seasons quality just a plain kit nothing special 5/10

Blackburn away: Where did the stripe come from? Have to say it works well nice kit 7/10

Bolton home: bit dissapointed more of a early 90's style bad make from Reebok. 4/10

Bolton Away: Same as the home and still looks early 90's bright orange colour is a very different approach but Reebok are just having a laugh here 5/10

Chelsea Home: bit too plain collar's too big Adidas stripes need to longer plain kit 5/10

Chelsea away: I quite like the black kit okay its a bit plain but it does not matter because the black hides away good kit 8/10

Everton Home: looks a bit like the kit they had in 04/05 very plain kit nothing special 5/10

Everton away: bit of the same a boring whinte shirt the grey black stripe would make it the palest kit in the league 4/10

Fulham home: After last seasons horror I thought fulham would make than 1 change to the kit but at least they sorted out that rubbish collar... 5/10

Fulham Away: closing down the stripes to 2 is a huge improvement but theres not much quality to go with it but its a lot better than last seasons 6/10

Hull Home: like the big stripes and makes everyone draawed to them this is a pure hull kit 7/10

Hull Away: A dark grey kit dont't really look good on hull more detaill could have helped but its quite simple 5/10

Liverpool home: I think this v-neck thing is chaos and ruins most of the kit but other than that the slightly brighter red works well and a lot of detail is added good work from Adidas 7/10

Liverpool away: at first when i heard the kit was grey it sounded bad but turns out fantasticly brilliant one of my favourite kits 8/10

Man City home: brilliant detaill smoother colour I think its a nice kit putting some navy 8/10

Man City Away: could be a bit better the sort of reddish purplely colour isn't a good choice and stripes just don't go with stripes 5/10

Man Utd home: same as last seasons but its plain nothing to it but does it really need any? I think it's a fantastic kit and don't need any detaill 8/10

Man Utd away: never thought united would ever do a red/white/blue kit but I think it looks brilliant 9/10

Boro Home: the tradditional white stripe returns looks like the world has changed when you see it but really its just a white stripe 6/10

Boro Away: the kits too dark the blue looks horrible and with black stripes its dreadful really 4/10

Newcastle Home: same as last seasons, the black hides away all of the plain bits while the white tries to make it look good but its just too boring and stripey socks just go and blow it 5/10

Newcastle away: again its a bit plain and the purple is a good choice but theres hardly anything on it but it might prove to be popular 6/10

Pompy Home: this is a huge improvement to Pompey loads of gold sploged on loads of detaill not to much blue on it I think its a nice kit 9/10

Pompey away: its a brilliant kit brilliant white and blue mix fantastic make from Canterbury 8/10

Stoke home: The thick stripes look good on stoke but then again its a bit pale and plain 6/10

stoke away: this is the yellow i dont like it's too dirty goes bad with blue and looks awful and very dirty 3/10

Sunderland home: this a huge improvement with a good mix of black like the red socks i think its a brilliant make 8/10

Sunderland away: exactly the same as boro's away kit so same reivew as boro's got 3/10

Tottenham home: good improvement to last seasons plain kit like it that the navy shorts are back but where did these awful stripey socks come from? 6/10

Tottenham away: honestly this is just last seasons away kit coloured light blue so it its a bit boring for me 4/10

West Brom home: looks very plain a boring for me and sponsor less for the season dont help very dissapointed 4/10

west brom away: again very plain and just looks boring to me 5/10

west ham home: this is a very different west ham kit and gels very nicely very pleased no wonder i pre-ordered it 7/10

west ham away: i love this type of umbro templete and when west ham bring back their light blue strip this gets the best colour out of west ham 9/10

wigan home: really like this new kit thicker stripes goes good and this is a nice wigan kit 7/10

wigan away: its a bit plain and too bright so bit dissapointed but i guess its okay 6/10
