  • Greek Orthodox church lets their priests marry, have kids and have a normal family, so they don't turn into rabid perverts and pedophiles.

Why do some religions still follow this stupid idea of abstinence? ITS NOT NORMAL.

  • naw Im not a religious fanatic or anything but I feel like I have to defend myself here.

    1. 3 out of a 100 is 3% just 3% its actually a minor miracle it isnt higher. I mean we are talking about MEN here of course there going to hit on women thats what men do. Just because there religious doesnt mean there perfect.

  • I agree faith, the word, is almost synonymous to religious belief and is not commonly associated in a non-religious context.

The screaming about gravity comment was in reference to a reply I made to damianGray about some religious peoples need to scream to non-believers that they are wrong. I was meaning that if they believe/have faith in God why scream it.

Doesn't induction mean to transfer by contact? Is that what you meant, or did you mean inference, as in drawing a logical conclusion?

    :P

  • Not all Faith is trust. If I use the word faith in a normal non religious context I am talking about faith based on trust that is built from evidence and reason and induction as well I suppose. I find induction to be a practical necessity but not a philosophical one. Faith as a word is too closely associated with religious faith so I try to avoid that word and tend not to use it. I have trust in myself and my abilities but not faith as used by the religious. Don't recall screaming about gravity.

  • religious ppl follow stupid ideas cos religion is stupid

  • no she is dumb...
