Blimey you were there were you?

I am a big fan of that album and I'd love to chat about the making of it sometime (sorry to contact you out of the blue by the way!)

  • I really wish I could understand wtf he was saying.

  • Fans of Andy Partridge may be familiar with the poisonous blogger pier23ca (currently calling himself PikeyTynkerGyppo and PJohnson23). He is a serial internet idiot (who stalks and harrasses kids online).

He is PIERRE or PIER JOHNSON, a venture catalyst in investment management from

Thousand Oaks CA. Ex Syracuse University, SUNY and Washingtonville Senior HS.

Google him; or just paste -- "pjohnson23" +"theeroticreview" -- into google. Here he rates prostitutes out of 10. Get a life P.

  • " He needs A new pair of shoes, and i'm havin a toaster" awesome! thanks for the post !

  • Hey! Thanks for posting this. I LOVE the Greatest living englishman. It is a fantastic album. the solo on "we'll build a house" is a gem, concise, loaded with passion and melody, soaring and grand, yet simply touching at the same time. I could go on and on raving about each track. anyway, it's cool to hear Martin talk about the experience of creating the album, if only for a bit. Thanks again.

  • Yes... I remember the recording session in Andy's garden shed. And when we had finished for the day we nipped over the pub and when it was Andy's round he got a pint each for Martin and myself - and three pints for himself.

I think the domestic turmoil might have been getting to him a little......
