Julie Quarry PENTAXIAN Video

"On a trip to Embaria, Panama, I was given a PENTAX digital SLR camera to snap a few pictures. I captured an image of a little Kuna girl from the San Blas Islands with a lizard on her head. At that instant, all the planets seemed to align for me. The girl's image was so stunning, and the moment so spiritual, it was as if I was seeing the world for the first time.

I find it interesting that here in 2012 Julie still uses a Pentax K10D. It's my camera as well. I don't have the talent she has of course and I have not been to a national park but I know a good camera when I hold one.

Hello - I believe she shoots with the K-5. This video was created back when the K10D was a new camera. It is a great camera!

I kind of figured she would be using a K-5 by now but since the video was just published a few days ago I thought it was a more recent video. Anyway it inspired me to pull out my K10D and take a few photos of my step-daughter and grandson. They came out quite well. As you said, the K10D is still a great camera. (But I still want a K-5!)

hey Pentax. Send to your latvian dealers some k-r's and k-7's. There are basically zero cameras available. I want to buy a pentax, but I just cant get it. (only newst models, like k5 k30 etc are available).
