Heritage minister William Ole Ntimama now says retired president Daniel arap Moi arm twisted him into getting him to sign away Mau forest land on which Kiptagich tea estate now lies. Ntimama, a vocal supporter of the Mau evictions, says Moi used his powers then to get whatever he wanted. Nitmamas statement comes just a day after Moi insisted that he was given the land by the Narok county council. Pamela Asigi reports.

Moi should be made to pay more, Kenya was a sole exporter of Podo, Mahogany, Iron wood and Ebony, thanks to Moi raping our forests. Today timber only comes from Congo DRC. Those greedy fat cats should not even get a cent. If land in Mau was security then banks should attach their property. Yes impunity must stop

No one questions the reclamation and conservation of the water tower, but good should be done across the board. I am only Kenyan like you and my opinion is still Kenyan, however foolish or misguided it is.
