  • Psychologists are the most highly trained psychotherapists. Psychiatrists treat with medicine. Not all mental health issues are organic, so medicine is not always appropriate treatment. Psychologists can make as much money as they want. There are countless career opportunites beyond "hanging a shingle." Money is not limted by a degree, but by the degee holder.

  • i still got 4 more years to become a clinical psychologist, i'm on my first year at the university of Malta, i hope i'll do it hehe.

It's such a wonderful thing to know that you made a difference in some person's life.

  • @cadettipk yep i think so

  • @pbunting hmmmm i like that

  • I absolutely hate this subject. It is an absurd science that merely explains what we already acknowledge in out subconscious mind and therefore this defeats the purpose for even having the subject. Also, I'd like to point out that psychology is highly unreccomened for those who are looking for a real science to specialize in. Moreover, it is well explained in the job description of clinical psychologists, that in fact all they do is listen to people's dilemna

  • i m going to study psychology

  • I am now in a bachelors program for a psychology degree and now I am finding that a seperate certification is required for addiction counseling. Why is this so when Psychology covers counseling with it's coures?

  • I think I want to become a Clinical Psychologist, do they help people who have personal issues like a teenage girl who's insecure?

  • @Antipsychiatry123
