0 -100 more or less 2 sec., im sorry but... i had a gsxr1000 k5, k6 and k9 then it went to my wife and i bought the busa for me, cause i travel a lot and the busa is better for that. the busa is not for circuit or open roads, but please try race against one on a higway and then youll see the "truck" leaving you behind...with the bmw is harder because of the quick-shift, but im thinking to apply one and then well see what heapens...

@Serverownia The bike is limited to 299 kph. It got there in 5th gear, so there was no need for the 6th one. Crazy things these bikes, aren't they?

@foguetemix Accelerates quite fast. From 0-100 you will win easily cause of your bike's weight and centre of gravity. From 100-300 there will be no difference I think. Suzuki is best :-))

@foguetemix Idiot, your Busa is like a truck. I am sure that our acceleration is almost equal. I even think my bike will be faster from 0-300, and then try to follow the gsxr 1000 on the race track! You will lose. Maybe it takes you 12 sec to put in the first gear;-)

You realy are a jerk, my wife rides a gsxr 1000 k9, i know how it goes, its fast course, like every "R" 1000, but its not as fast as the busa...like a truck...hhaaahhhaaahhaaa
try race against a BMW s1000 and then you´ll know whats fast

@foguetemix No reason to freak out. I'm pretty sure that the K9 is not as powerful as the K7(believe me and the magazines with dyno tests, i tried the K9 too). Your wife vs yourself? Serious race I think. I know the BMW S1000RR very well cause I'm from Austria. It's the best bike ever made. But you can try to race against a BMW. It will be the same result except in turns. There you are the slowest of us. 12 sec, even your grandma won't believe that!!
