I have only just heard this song for the first time in my life (can you believe this) I love Dolly and I always have. I am going to see her next month, in Brisbane Australia......wouldn't miss her for the world! I love Dolly, but I'm sorry, this song BELONGS to Emmylou. It's way too slow for all the energy packed in this little blonde bombshell. I'm glad she made a pile of money off it anyway because it takes a great imagination or a real sad story in your life to make you lyrics like that.
