a jb brake in chapter 17

i flicked joe off and walked away but then i started to feel someone staring at me. i turned around and saw kevin looking at the ground and joe looking at me with his big brown eyes.
i turned back around and kept walking but out of the corner of my eye i seen something. it was a flash of blue. then a loud crakling laugh. great. the lights went out except for the one right above me. now i was getting freaked out. i turned around in a circle to see if i could see anyone.
in the distance, i could hear joe and kevin whispering but not anything else. but just then i heard a voice.
"so. after so many months. we meet again brittany." it sounded like a guys voice.
"whos there?" i asked. "and my names britt!!!" i added.
"haha. nah, you'll always brittany to me. but anyways. wondering where your friends are?" he asked.
"uhm. yeah. who wouldnt be in this postion?" i said.
"well, you can have them. just give me one thing." he said to me.
"what do you want?" i yelled.
"your life." he said simply. oh geeze. joe was right.
"fine. just turn on the lights. and take maraia and nick back to kevin and joe. then and only then. i'll do whatever ya want. that includes killing me." i said.
the lights then turned on. i looked over at joe and kevin and they both looked so pale. joe was the worst. it looked like he was sorry he even said those things to me. but whatever. just then i seen maraia and nick being shoved out of the shadows and over to joe and kevin. then a gun being loaded and then cold on the side of my head. maraia was whimpering.
"NO!" joe yelled while full out sprinting towards me.
"joe no!" i yelled but it was to late. he pulled me over to the side. we fell on some movie cutouts. joe was on top of me breathing on my face. we stayed like that for a couple of seconds when we finally came to out sense's and got up. i looked over to where i once was standing. there was a guy. the same guy that killed my coach and soon to be me also. he looked awful.
"joe, go back to your bros and maraia. then leave. dont call 911 or the police or anyone. go stright home. do not anwser the door for anyone. i'll be fine. just go. dont come back." i whispered to joe with looking at him in his eyes. my eyes were watering.
"no. im not leaving." joe said firmly.
"JOE! LEAVE!" i screamed.
"i told you. im not leaving." he said once again.
"its fine. he can stay. its better if he can watch. im sure he would want to." the mystery guy said.
"fine" i whispered.
joe backed up while i walked up to the guy.
