For a long time I thought that this was Herb Alpert. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was by the producer of the 4 Seasons. Live and learn :)

This was played allot on KTTR 1490 Rolla Mo. and in the days of the long gone KCLU circa 1965 played there as well. KCLU was Rolla's first AM-FM station.

Results Radio owns both stations today and 103.1FM the old KCLU is Classic Rock.

KTTR is mostly talk radio but..................

Oldies 95.3 FM owned by Results Radio does a fantastic job playing 60's 70's and now some 80's.

I have been trying to get this song in the format at KXMO 95.3 Hopefully they will add this awesome song to it.

@quidveritas...Yes, I too have vague memories of a Tijuana Brass/Herb Alpert version of this song. I have searched on You-Tube for it, and I can't seem to find it. I'm not sure how old you are but, do you recall a TV commercial (circa 1974) that featured this tune? I can't seem to recall what product/company they were endorsing. I just remember an attractive woman wearing a dress and running in slow motion while this song played in the background.

What a strange video to put what this great song. A beautiful song from the '60s should have guys cruisin' in a '60s car and showing girls on the beach- not a bunch of paunchy nerds riding around in a little ugly '80s car acting stupid.

As I recall this song was used in a commercial. Don't know if it was for TAB, a diet cola that was produced in the 60's or SEGO, a dietary malted milk drink that came in a can.

Great song, horrible girl watching. Go to miami or NYC in the summer time. This looks like a college campus. Horrible place to see good looking girls.
