Bloodgood played the HM Magazine Stage along with 3 other Christian metal veterans - X-sinner, Bride, and Whitecross.
I expected the tent to be full of middle-aged metal heads (such as myself, LOL). I was very pleasantly surprised to find that fully 2/3 of the audience was under 25 (with a healthy showing of older teens) and they were totally getting into the show. Many of them knew the songs and were singing along...not just there to see if us old folks still knew how to rock! The current line-up includes founder and bassist Michael Bloodgood, Les Carlsen on vocals, Paul Jackson on Guitar, Mark Welling on drums, and newcomer, Oz Fox (of Stryper fame) on guitar. They haven't lost the edge which I sharpened my metal horns on quite a few years ago.

  • ya would like to jam with these guys they could have use this one in passion for the Christ movie to the words were all ready in there songs.

  • Sounding as good as ever, and what a combo of Paul & Oz together! I can still remember when "Detonation" came out, and how cool it was back then, considering there weren't as many bands like this back then.
