Clarence White sings lead on this obscure Jackson Browne tune. This song was retired from the setlist after a scant number of performances. Oberlin College, Ohio. November 27, 1970.

The song is referred to as both "Last Time I Was Home" (probably the official title) and "Home Sweet Home". In introducing the song, McGuinn used the latter title.

Clarence White - lead guitar, vocal/Roger McGuinn: elec. 12-string, falsetto vocal/Skip Battin: bass, falsetto vocal/Gene Parsons: drums/Jimmi Seiter: additional percussion

  • this is great, if it ain't The Byrds that has to be Graham Parsons on drums, you can tell his style straight out

  • Never come across this song by The Byrds before or seen reference to it anywhere. Not sure about those backing vocals! Steve
