Camo Paint Job on Airsoft L96

I finally got round to doing the woodland spray paint job on the L96. It's my first ever camo attempt but I think it's worked pretty well.

The paints I used were Plasti Cote; Crackle base coat was brown, crackle top coat black and a matt green all over the desert base coat. I also used real plant leaves as stencils. A maple leaf, a branch off of a yew tree and a fern leaf, the fern was scrapped as it was too soft and kept blowing under the pressure of the spray.

As I said before this is my first go at camo painting but please leave comments!

Honestly? I think it looked nicer in the sort of desert tan colour. But it's up to you really.

I liked the desert look as well, but I Skirmish a lot in the woods so this is more suited for my environment.

You're right, but I've done several coats of clear on top from something like 50cms away giving a duller finish and the paint will last longer - It's not so shiny now. The camera doesn't do the final finish any justice.

im trying to find a "flat dark earth" colour paint which is the official MOD colour, but i cant find it anywhere.

were do u get ur paint from?

I got my paint from Homebase and Focus - it's made by plasticoat . Do a search on google uk for krylon - thats whats supposed to be used on guns...

its a alright paint job i see little sploches of bunched up paint in certain areas but no big deal not to noticiable i hope.
