  • "...yea, buddy, but, ain't it a blessing to do what you want to do?"

  • Hands down one of the rare songwriters who bring 'it' to life. A story, a scene, a dream... This song came from a great album.

  • Saw him live at the Zephyr in Salt Lake City shortly after Soul's Core came out. It was one of the greatest live shows for the quality of music I've ever seen. Years later taking a motorcycle trip I happened to pass through Twin Rocks, OR and can see the "why" for this song. I didn't have any MD 20/20 with me though so I think it was more like MGD to toast the experience.

  • Been there at Twin Rocks. Shawn nails it.

  • God, i love this guy!! I remember buying Souls Core back in the day...Still remains one of my all time favourite albums!!!

  • shawn, you have so much soul....

  • goosebumps!

  • I had the honor of performing a song on stage with Mr. Mullins and have to say that he is one of the most amazing people I have ever got to meet. His music is pure and moving and he, as a person, is genuine and nice. He was so open and approachable. When he asked me to sit in with him at The Bluebird in Bloomington, IN., I had to pinch myself to make sure I was awake. On stage we had a blast. I hope to see him again real soon

  • Epic

  • I used to listen to this song all the time when it first came out. I randomly put Shawn Mullin's CD on while on a road trip through Oregon last week, and realized I was only half an hour away from this spot. So, I made my way there and had a moment for all the dreamers out there...

  • Superb song - hit me when i first heard it back in 98'ish - still superb

  • beautiful
