"The water is wide" is a English folksong, and has been sung for hundreads of years. This song has such beautiful melody and lyrics, which are not so powerful but tender and meaningful. As for me, the song reminds me of the love my parents dedicate for me and my brother. Masaaki did such a wonderful arrangement for one of my favorite tunes, and I finally have time to post it up.

I was so busy with work, but I hope you haven't forgotten me yet.

Btw, this video features my new fanfret guitar, see if you like the sound of it.

I bought this guitar from a Vietnamese Luthier. If anyone of you would like to order it, please let me know, I will tell you how to contact him. The sound quality is comparable to a fine $3000 guitar, but the cost is about 1/3. IMO, It sounds a lot clearer, however richer and deeper than my Taylor 314ce. I will upload a few more songs to test the quality.

The link above redirect to the mp3 of this tune. The youtube version sounds worse than it actually is. There are lots of hummings in the background where they're not supposed to be. And the guitar sounds muffled.

Also, you mentioned to Augustin that it affects the play style. How so? Does the fanning help you play certain strings more easily or more comfortably?

@HanzP Thank you Hansel ^^ It's not a silly question. The "fan fret" I was talking about is the guiter fret being spreaded out like a fan, while the standard fret is vertical, that's all. A relevent factor of a fan fret guitar is that the neck can be longer than a standard guitar but not quite as long as a baritone guitar.
