Sri Sri Ravi Shankar addresses the 3rd World Congress of Imams and Rabbis for Peace in Paris

Sri Sri called for a strong resolution to work towards peace in the individual, peace among communities and peace among nations at the 3rd World Congress of Imams and Rabbis for Peace in Paris. The world will not be a safe place, even if a small part of the world lives in ignorance, he said. Referring to the terror attacks in Mumbai, Sri Sri said that the anger and frustration amongst peace-loving people needed to be channelled towards a creative and productive future.
The three-day conference, entitled Sacredness of Peace, has brought together Imams and Rabbis who seek to initiate peace dialogue between Judaism and Islam. Sri Sri urged the religious leaders to envision a violence-free and stress-free world. As the youngest speaker in the Congress, representing the oldest religion, I want to point out that we all have to remind ourselves and our society that we belong to One World, he emphatically said. The world and life itself are sacred and no one has any right to destroy them.

This man is clearly attempting peace, a peace which we have never known, peace betweent Musslims, and Jews.
