@cocoisss i forgot about it til i read ur advice as it was a year again i decided not to do it in the end and all ok for now thinkin about it now i still feel like i made the right decision for me even thou most advised to do it but it was too stressful to go thru Was ur outcome ok?

@stefkova1234 I had two lumbar punctures, they werent that bad really, just lie down for an hour and u will be fine

JennEnglish(dot)com is a great site to purchase a book about ON . . . I have lived with ON for over 7 years and I share my story on what it is like to live with Optic Neuritis. The book is called "Tough Minded". I still live a happy and active life!

i have a second case of ON and the doc said to do another MRI and also a Lumbar Puncture which I am a bit scared about? looks nasty plus the headaches...but do the risks outwiegh the pros? any advice welcome thanks
