Just watch...it's something I felt I needed to say, to talk about.

No matter how bad it *seems*, we should all count our blessings. Be grateful. Everyday, be grateful. Stay positive.

Love to everyone, and Blessed Be!

  • im with ya, i live in a 2 bedroom mobile home, but like you said, i have a roof over my head and a job and my husband has a job, but we cant afford insurance on me, so i go to a free clinic, and i donate money at each visit,, there have been times when i had to go to the clinic for free food when i wasnt working, so please everyone be thankful for what you do have and donate for those that dont,, because one days you might be in that situation,, and it may take some time but it will get better

  • Girl, it was only about a year and a half ago that I moved into this house from a 2 bedroom mobile home, so I know what that's like. That's the home I brought my son home to from the hospital. Before that, we'd lived in a "shotgun" house. And there have been plenty of times that I didn't have insurance, etc. Thank you so much for understanding the point of this video, and for posting what you did. It means sooo much to me. Love and Light and BB to you!

  • Excellent!! I am grateful everyday that I get to spend with my husband and kids. The thought of being without a single one of them terrifies me. I feel like you do when I watch some of the videos on here knowing how rough things are for them. I wish I could take it all away, but I think for those of us who do have income, who do have good health, and a happy home...I think it should be a reminder to not take any of it for granted. To be that much more grateful, and do what we can for others

  • Thank you so much, Nika. That's exactly the message I wanted to get across, and I'm so glad you watched and enjoyed the video. And yes, to be grateful for what we have, to not take it for granted, to love and be loved, to help others however we can...that's what we all should strive toward. Love to you!

  • I absolutely loved watching this video.. I'm going through a hard time this week and this made my day. :) We have LOTS of things to be grateful for.. We just have to see them. I am grateful even for the Full Moon coming(which most people take for granted).

    Thank you and be blessed!

  • Thank you! I'm glad it made your day. *smile* We do all have so many blessings in our lives that we sometimes overlook or take for granted, and it was so wonderful and refreshing for me to be made aware of that. (And I'm grateful for the Full Moon coming as well! It's absolutely my favorite time of the month. ;-) )

    Blessed Be!

  • You guys are the coolest little family! you're the kind of people we should all aspire to be :)

  • (part 3)

You have the right to be discouraged! Just get yourself together and take action afterwards. I've watched some of your videos and you sure doesn't look like a selfish bitch to me^_^

  • (part 2) expectations, we shouldn't stay in a complaining state of mind, but instead think of ways to get out of trouble. I think that a person who is constantly complaining about the things s/he doesn't have but does nothing about it is far more selfish than the concerned friend you seem to be. Please don't feel selfish if sometimes, you feel sad or angry or desesperate for situations you feel are not "bad enough".

  • I think it is very important to keep thoughts in perspective when you are in a bad situation, because yes, as you say, things could be worse, and you do have aspects of your life that are are doing great. That being clear, I also think that even if a friend's situation is worse, as people, we have the right to be sad or scared about situations that we feel are bad. I don't think it makes us selfish: it makes us realize our limits as humans or our expectations about life. Once we've realise those

  • That was amazingly powerful. Thank you for making me stop and think.

  • Amen Sista, so true !

  • I agree completely. TY for reminding us to always be grateful, everyday. You are such a caring and sweet person. Love you!
