Blackstar live @ Alternation (week 10, oct 11) part 1

Blackstar impressed me with a very digestible rock suave that gave me confidence that they are heading in the right direction with a few infectious guitar lines. Their energy was very consistent throughout the set with frontman Jun Ren having a great crowd rapport / charisma. I offered them to join the outbreed label that very night. The clincher was of course the cover they did of The Suns (God bless Wayne Thunder's soul)'s secret track "Ai sio kan mai", in native hokkien no less!
