"Hide It Away," the first single from Retribution Gospel Choir's "2," out January 26, 2010 on Sub Pop. Retribution Gospel Choir is a rock trio founded in 2007.
The group features Alan Sparhawk on guitar and vocals, Steve Garrington on bass and Eric Pollard on drums and vocals. Alan also fronts the band Low with his wife, Mimi Parker, and Steve also plays bass in Low.

I was acquainted with Alan from back in Duluth circa 1991. I worked at a record store, the Electric Fetus, and he lived in my building. Such a nice guy, totally unpretentious, and mellow. He played in a local band (Zen Identity) in which he always reminded me of The Edge - all echos, reverb, and angles. Good to see that great things sometimes come to those who truly deserve them.
