Disabled cows at this Nebraska slaughterhouse are dragged off trucks with a chain, then are abandoned for days without food, water, or protection from the elements. Many die from their injuries, illnesses, starvation, or dehydration.

People who collect footage of these crimes are heroes. They go in undercover at risk to their own safety, take the footage and get out without drawing attention of any kind to themselves. Why? Because they would never get out with their footage if they were caught. The police would do nothing anyway. Abbatoirs are supposed to have their own vets. Where are THEY? Go vegan and put a final end to all this shit.

Is it not more Humane to just go ahead and put these animals out of their misery??

A tranqulizer gun is the most Humane way. Leaving these animals lying in filth.. feces... covered with insects... suffering constantly is not right! These cows are thinking "WHY is someone not doing something? WHY do these humans not help me?"

@43Coda well that's just fucked, the US needs to sort out its animal welfare code. Obviously it won't fix everything but it is a good place to start. Rules or not I won't be farming like this any time soon. As farmers we don't have control over the transport companies and meat companies once animals leave the gate, but I can be fined if I send an animal unfit to make that final trip. P.S I probably won't watch the video you speak of, I will take your word for it.

@Pendarves1 you are aware that most practices--such as this-- are legal in the united states, don't you? If you watch the film "death on a factory farm", the judicial system even goes to call the 5-minute hanging of a sow from a forklift as a "legal" and justifiable means for the treatment of an animal. The person who took the video spent their time taking it so that americans can be aware of what is going on, and of what is acceptable on these farms.
