No one cares how good you are in the Regular Season. If that were the only measuring stick then Wilt Chamberlain is the greatest of all time with his numbers. But the real test of a player's skill is in the Post Season. Jordan excelled more in the Playoffs than any other person before or since. I'd like to see Kobe score back to back 50 point games in the playoffs. Or average 41ppg for the Finals with 4 straight 40 point games.
It would be nice if people (and the media) would just wait for someone to earn the status they're going to get rather than give it to them and hope they reach the bar. After 1993, there were so many "next Jordan" players. Harold Minor, Penny Hardaway, Jerry Stackhouse, Grant Hill, Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Lebron James. Let people accomplish something and compare it to players before them before we start talking about GOAT. And as of right now, Jordan is still the "Goat".
but then they werent as many good teams as there r now.
Kobe faces great defenders and he still puts up great numbers. Ppl back then couldnt match jordan. Now if Jordan was in his prime now doing it against now a day teams then ya.
kobe is the only one who can be compared with michael jordan.....lebron is great but lower than mike and kobe......but still mike will always be #1......
Haha comparing Kobe 2 Jordan???? Kobe knows mike is bettr he says it in erri interview wen sum1 ask him so there is no comparison xcept 4 maybe Lebron but no1 else is evn close.
