@UsagiDreamsReturns Not to mention that his WW1 leadership was equally as inspiring as Churchill's WW2 leadership. It's simply a pity that no records exist of his WW1 speeches.

@jed371 A poll in 1999 to find the best Prime Ministers in the UK of the 20th Century found Lloyd George only second to Churchill. Lloyd George regularly comes near top in all the polls. Churchill obviously always wins because of WW2. Lloyd George ensured state financial support for the sick and the ill. He taxed the luxuries to ensure the poor had the necessities. A good man.
