Tenori-On sequencing Access Virus TI Snow [v01]

Trying to expand the internal sounds and get beyond that recognizable Tenori On sound and timing. I thought the 4 parts of the TI Snow would be limiting but the sounds can be so big it is a challenge to try and be simple. The Tenori On is in "Advanced" mode so i wasn't locked into score mode for the first 4 layers which was useful on my Nord Modular G2 (which i am also uploading).

Excuse the quality. This was recorded with my Macbook Pro's iSight and audio input so the video quality is bad and there is a buzz in the audio. Beyond the buzz, the audio sounds pretty ok.

I'm telling you, I just watched 10 videos of guys with 10s of thousands of dollars worth of gear they can't program. This sounds not just better, its good music. Its a great technique to learn how to hold back and use just the sounds you need...including silence...good work

thanks man. very kind of you to say. i agree that less is more sometimes. Just check out Deliah Derbyshire's stuff. She made some of the most amazing sound creations often without any real "instruments".

Search for "Alchemists of Sound" on youtube. It is a BBC doc about the Radiophonic workshop where they made lots of that type of music (themes, jingles etc.). I have seen it probably 3 times and it never gets old.

More excellent synth work. And another 5 stars! This music would be really good as an accompaniment to film. Contact you local art/film school and get your stuff on some student's films. I absolutely KNOW that many filmmakers will like the introspection in your music.
