Philippe Jaroussky - 10 ans déjá!

Concert at 24.10.09 in Salle Gaveau, Paris.

"Philippe Jaroussky has invited an incredible singer named Madame Raymonde ( Denis d'Arcangelo).
She (He ? it's up to you to guess) always wanted to sing "popular french songs" and came several times to interrupt Philippe, saying : "Well, it's very beautiful what you are singing, but the public is getting bored ! What they need is a good popular song with my accordéoniste" .
You can hear a parody of a Charles Aznavour's song "J´me voyais déjà" (I could see myself on a great poster - I could see I was a star)........ M-me Raymonde and Philippe had changed the words saying all the contrary of the words....."

A thousand thanks to the generous person, who recorded these jewels!!!!!

Philippe´s chest voice has a beautiful timbre to my ears. Almost more bariton than tenor? Great that he uses it in public now. (But I seriously hope he won´t do a Laszczkowski and sing Othello next!) ;-)

Philippe is a rare artist, serious and heart breakingly beautiful one moment and a good humored boy the next. His versatility is amazing!!!Talent and artistry plus a lot of stamina!!!Go Philippe!!!!!

Quelqu'un pourrait m'expliquer en quoi consistait ce spectacle? Je crois comprendre qu'il s'agissait d'un récital de PJ en principe, et puis il est devenu un spectacle comique au fur et a mesure. C'est bien ça? Pourquoi le titre? C'était à l'occasion de quoi?

On n'était pas loin l'un de l'autre car j'entends mon voisin rire avec son rire sonore bien particulier !!! Je ne pouvais prendre qu'une minute car j'ai posté mes videos sur Flickr.

C'était un merveilleux concert dont on se souviendra !!!!!!

Yes! Philippe can sing almost everything, no matter high or "low" voice - it's sounds enchanting and heartfelt every time. His genius for acting, his incredible ability to express emotions strikes me no less than his one-of-a-kind vocal range.

In fact, his low voice even more fascinates me, because it looks like a charming prank and his sense of humor always can recover my joie de vivre
