people here in big city vancover don't give a remote villiage in canadas arctic to much thought. and if you ask 'em what it must be like in the land of the midnight sun their more likely to shrug their shoulders than say i wouldn't live up there for no money. keep warm, daylight is breaking over the far north and if you came here right now you wouldn't believe how green and lush it all is, it would be like me going to the amazon..i wouldn't believe the jungle, humidity or the colourful birds.

Hope next time that won't happen

Awesome makes me miss home! Thanks for sharing:D
Calling all these class 1 operators idiots. I'd like to see you get behind the wheel of a tractor trailer or tanker truck and make it to your destination. Ice road trucking takes a lot of fuckin skill and attention.

@FLSTF87 LOL, the one that went through first attempted to drive across the Mackenzie river up here with a fully loaded super b train on 12 inches of ice with a sign at the side of the river stating maximum weight of 5000 kg. The ice crossing just opened for the season, and is not ready for fully loaded super B's until they have 48 inches of ice.
The one later with the backhoe was after the ice road was officialy closed for the winter. Happened in the spring, as the ice was starting to melt.
