Horror Home; 18

It was weird -- my conscious was here, but my body lay in a totally different place. I knew where I wanted to be, and I was there. This could be my heaven, I could have completely left them up in that dismal room and this could be where I have to spend the rest of my 'life' -- I had no other explanation, there was nothing else I could think of. I must have left them.
'Okay everyone! We're here to brighten your day!' I turned around looking out. Joe stood on my right, I looked to my left and saw Kevin standing there -- I whipped my head quickly between the two. If that was my time and this is why I go -- I can understand Joe being here, but Kevin?
Kevin started to strum the strings on the guitar he was holding, Joe started to spin and sing. I stood dumbstruck -- I had no idea what I was doing. I jumped off of the stage that stood in the town hall of the town we'd moved from -- I missed this place, it was my favourite place to go when I wanted to be alone, no one else would come here, only Macey would be here if anyone and she was always able to tell what was wrong, exactly what had happened and where it had gone wrong.
I passed through the wooden doors that held in all of the sound that were going on inside. I stood by the bushes outside until I felt Macey standing behind me.
'Nick? Are you okay?' she softly said placing her hand on my shoulder. I sighed and turned to face her.
'I'm just -- confused,' I said smiling when I saw her delicate face.
'You're fine Nick, don't worry. You're safe here.'
'But, where is here? Why are my brothers here?' I scratched the top of my head trying to think. She sighed and looked as if she was about to give up.
'Look Nick, all you need to know is that you're fine, for now. Just hope your brothers do the right things.'
'But, they're in there.' I sighed starting to wander off into my own mind. 'None of this makes sense to me!'
'Nick, just enjoy yourself while you're here.. you'll regret it if not, trust me.' she moved forwards placing her hand on my shoulder. Sparks flared up as I felt her touch, I looked up, and as if by magic she seemed to glow as if she was some sort of fairy. The wind picked up, her hand moved quickly away, she spun around to look behind her. Confused I turned around to look behind me, a great light moving forwards as if it was going to swallow me.
I was surrounded by darkness, I could hear vivid shouting, and screaming, thumping and thrashing. I felt someone ram into the side of me. My eyes shot open, revealing the horrific scene developing in front of me.
