wow, Hellmuth's read on people is unbelievable. Jamie betting that flop, looking that confident - some may notice he doesn't look like that when he's betting his draw or middle pair or just bluffing -, wonder what he could have, with the speech saying how he wishes he had straddled, trying to make everyone think he has nothing, and there came the greatest Texas Hold'em player alive, as he acclaims, coming out with by far the most dunce-like goof of a raise ever made on this tv show.
no.....myself i only play tournament poker, but as far as i can tell...a straddle is basically an additional BB option...so if the blinds are 300/600...the straddle would be 1200 and its the option of the utg player i guess.....utg +1 can double staddle, etc...i think thats correct anyway eddie
No, you use the straddle to make the game bigger. Its like a blind, so thre is more money in the pot post flop. Its to make the game bigger, its a third blind :)
haha of course they do, did you think they play 40 mins of poker and then come back the next day for another 40 min session. they film like like 8 hour sessions and edit them into single eps. is this phil galfond?
