  • This was amazing, it made me cry at the end. It's so awesome to see the legacy Gilda left on people.

  • In an interview with Gilda said that in the first year of SNL the cast took the subway to work and by the second year when the show was a hit they all had their own limos.

  • what is the picture at 1:22 from?

Gilda is my inspiration, I look up to her in everything I do. She helped me get through life's toughest battle. My father told me so much about her, he got to see her perfom at The Second City and he said no one has ever made him laugh as much as Gilda did. I believe I have 2 Guardian angels watching me. Thank you so much Gilda for showing us that life is always funny.

  • Her Patti Smith impression was spot on funny. Her 'Judy Show' captured the innocence and unbound excitement of kids that I find unmatched today.Lisa Lubner was.... was just funny as hell. She had the grace to ball room dance with Steve Martin while in the same show have you laughing uncontrollably about drive in movies.

All of her characters on SNL were memorable to me.

I still get a bit touched when I see the response from the audience of the Gary Shandling Show when she was dieing.

  • Two icons who are no longer with us.

    RIP Gilda and John.

  • She was amazing, hilariously funny and awesomely HOT! GE Smith and Gene Wilder were lucky men!
