It's not needed to run when you hand launch. If you just give it a toss it will take off just fine.

@MrRCFlyyer Yeah :/, the same happens to me :/...I live in the city and there isn't a place where I can simply go and fly, be it people or trees. I'm jealous of all these YouTubers who have a park or an open field to fly close to home :P

hey what motor are you using in this geekstar ?
and what thrust does it produces?
and can i put this on my bixler?
and what esc are u using?

@adit1001able Great questions! I've added that info in the description bar for you. You can use it on the bixler, but I think you'd have to do some cutting as this motor is an outrunner, whereas I think the bixler uses an inrunner... is that correct?

That is dedication! When its cold, I like to keep my lipos in an insulated container with a hot wattle bottle inside. Warm lipos are happy lipos, its surprising how much more power they seem to have. you should test it :)
