So, the old man trimmed off all of the wispy thin stuff at the ends and I lost a ton of length. Okay, so not that much, but still it FEELS like a ton. Since I've abandoned knee length (my hair just doesn't want to cooperate) I decided to go a bit lighter and try to take out some of the red. Join me for some box bleach from CVS and relish the new, almost un-noticeable, color change! See? Bleach won't totally kill your hair if done sparingly. I promise.

  • Do you dye your hair regularly? Because I'm trying to grow my hair as long as yours and I'm debating whether or not I want to dye continue dying it (granted I only dye ever 3-4 months but whatever hehe) or let it grow out to my natural colour.

  • @RacingStarShips I did it this once and never even went back to do my roots...because I have no roots. My water has already deposited all that red right back into my hair...le sigh.

  • You should do a tutorial on how to fish tail braid.

  • @DeadfulWishes I already have. :o)

  • It looks beautiful. Very nice. If I may, I would suggest avoiding Feria. I''ve used Feria, Garnier Nutrisse, Clairol, ColorSilk, Herbal Essences, and I have to say, Feria was BY FAR the most damaging. It made my hair feel worse than bleach. The most gentle is Garnier, and they have really good color pay off also.

  • Garnier products don't agree with my hair. It turns to straw so easily with the shampoos and conditioners, that I would be afraid to try anything else they make. Everyone's hair is different. The Feria seems to be agreeing with mine so far.

  • @dax28645 OMG. Let us never discuss that terrible, terrible bob. Some women are never meant to have short hair. I am one of those women. I had to wash it and fix it every single day. I had to spend at least an hour on it to make it look half-way decent. It was an abomination. LMAO. I am entirely to lazy and neglectful to deal with short hair.

  • when I had waist length hair I had to use 4-5 boxes of dye on my hair!

  • I believe there are filters that you can attach to your shower head or even shower heads with built in filters. I don't know if they filter out iron but it wouldn't hurt to look into it. Especially if it would negate a need to damage your beautiful hair with peroxide.

  • Love your hair. Have always loved it. I did have long hair until last thanksgiving and went to get layers done and they chopped my hair from my but to my shoulders with in 10 min I was so disgusted. But as my hubby says it will grow back and better then before now. So keep up the quality and the healthyness I am ehhehe

  • AAAAHHH THAT MAJOR TRIM *A*!!! WEREN'T YOU DYING INSIDE?!?!?! WHEN I GET A TRIM I ONLY DO THE DEAD ENDS *A* Anyway ;( I love your red hair ;( and dying your hair damages, well if you do it too often but still. Anyway hope it grows back fast!

  • D: Red hair is a gift!

  • I was so shocked as someone in the german lhc mentioned that you cut and bleached your hair o.O I m really pro Trim, I love your ends now, I think you are right, the ends really looked a little thin and now they are wonderful.
