大本・開祖大祭 Oomoto Autumn Grand Festival in commemoration of the Foundress

This celebration is in praise of the virtues of the Foundress Nao Deguchi, and the trials that she endured in her calling for the salvation of humanity. Joined together with the great autumn festival, services also show thanks for the new rice and that year's harvest.

　この動画は、2011年11月7日（日）、京都の綾部で行われた大本開祖大祭に参加したときに撮影したものです。
　大本の祭りは大きなもの（大祭）が年に４回あり、今回の開祖大祭はその一つです。開祖大祭は、秋の新穀感謝祭も兼ねているので、神道の新嘗祭と共通点があります。
　動画の後半に登場し、話をしておられる方は、出口紅・第五代教主です。
　新興宗教の中でも、戦時下においてもっとも厳しい弾圧を受けたことが、私が大本に関心を寄せるようになったきっかけにあります。また、大本がもつ「万教同根」という教えも­ユニークで興味深いです。
