Reviving the Classics
For the new season, we take a fresh look at the pieces you have been taking
for granted: trench coats, double-breasted jackets, well-tailored outerwear,
as well as basic and chunky handmade knits. Good timeless British country classics.
Mixing these traditional pieces in a nonchalant way takes us to the late 70s,
when fashion icons like Anjelica Huston portrayed freedom and personal style.
Rich textures of tweeds, corduroy and furs, combined with flowing silks and gold highlights, create a contrast between masculine and feminine, giving a new meaning to wardrobe classics.
A new twist too for menswear, mixing very classic elements like checks and tweeds with outerwear that combines utilitarian and retro.
This late 70s revival also brings changes in proportions. It emphasises the waist, combines flowing blouses with structured outerwear, and brings longer skirts and wider trousers.
A touch of Boho energy is also added with paisleys, geometric jacquards and
floral prints in offbeat colour combinations.
The search for all-time classics also extends to colour. A love affair with raditional and elegant camel, as well as grey and navy, all highlighted with country-inspired colours like warm browns and winter reds, is at the core of the season's palette.
By re-interpreting these concepts and playing with them, we create a very personal style, bringing optimism and a new minimal approach to this season.
