Typical, brilliant Alice. He talks about the icons he's known without the slightest trace of ego, always so down to earth, full of that fantastic sense of humour he's always had. I've loved him since the early 70s and will love him always.

That's a great clip. Alice used to indulge a bit too but I trust him on his assessment of Jim who used to swagger about like a mythical gunfighter with a bottle of whiskey.

Thanks Alice ,I loved the movie the Doors and I used to try to imitate Jim and the way he partyed.I would also end up like him. However there would be no barial in France just some remote Veterans Cemetary with no fan fare. I guess it is better tyo be sober and unkown then to be rich with fans and drugs and bottles all around?

Sounds cool to me. It's a shame he couldn't have stuck around and expressed much more of that in his words and music... moved a lot slower along that glidepath. But I wonder if AC really knew Morrison that well?
Doors of perception.. Drugs cleanse them, then cloud them over. The 60s were an innocent age of drug useage, which (I was a decade too young) was prob half the 'fun'.
