The Bicycle Cello Banjo

And I knew that I would have to build a cello banjo. I ended up deciding to use bicycle spokes for tension hooks and once I had liberated the spokes from one of my kids' bikes, the wheel rim looked so much like a tone ring that I tossed it in too.

Sounds lower in pitch than the guitar. Octave banjo with a low "D," perhaps?

I like the tone of it.

Yep, I tune it an octave below what ever tuning my banjo is in.
